Speaker Information
Payam Ataii, DMD
A graduate of Tufts School of Dental Medicine, with an externship at Harvard, Dr. Ataii is a nationally recognized speaker and key opinion leader. He maintains a private practice in Laguna Hills, California, is a member of the Align faculty, founder of the National Association of Dental Professionals, has authored numerous publications in the refereed literature, and holds three patents in dental technology. 

Diana Cuesta, DMD
Dr. Diana Cuesta earned her undergraduate degree in Neurobiology from Harvard University. She received her dental degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine where she graduated with honors with a Clinical Dentistry Certificate. She later completed advanced training in prosthodontics and received her specialty certificate at the University of Illinois at Chicago. During her residency, she also earned a Master’s degree in Oral Sciences for her research on zirconia materials for implant restorations.In addition to being a key member of the team at ClearChoice Dental Implant Center in Schaumburg, Dr. Cuesta is an active member of the American College of Prosthodontists and the American Dental Association. 
   
Chad Duplantis, DDS
Dr. Duplantis ​received his D.D.S. degree from The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, Dental School in 1999. He then continued with Post-doctorate training at Baylor College of Dentistry, earning a certificate in Advanced Education in General Dentistry in 2000. He has also received his Fellowship degree from the Academy of General Dentistry. He has been in private practice since 2000 in the North Fort Worth, Texas area. In private practice, he treats all ages with an emphasis on restorative and aesthetic dentistry. Dr. Duplantis is a member of Catapult Educations Speakers Bureau and has been a member of several Aesthetic and Restorative Continuums over the years he has been in practice.  He is currently a member of the Seattle Study Club. Dr. Duplantis has always had an interest in “high-tech” dentistry and has been incorporating CAD/CAM and digital technology in his practice since 2004. Dr. Duplantis has written and published several articles regarding digital dentistry and workflows for various dental publications. In addition to technology, Dr. Duplantis has a keen interest in restorative implantology, adhesion and materials, and he is also published in these regards. He has helped various manufacturers on numerous projects and evaluations regarding different aspects of clinical dentistry, and serves as a Key Opinion Leader and consultant for several dental corporations. Dr. Duplantis resides in Keller, Texas with his wife, Ellen, and his children, Austin and Ava. He is an avid cyclist, and enjoys traveling, fishing, and sporting clays in his spare time.

Rolando Nunez, DDS
Dr. Rolando Nunez received this dental degree from Central University of Venezuela in 1997. He enrolled a Biomaterials Graduate Program at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, obtaining a MSc. degree in 2004. He joined BISCO as a private clinical consultant from 2005 until 2013, where he worked closely with the Research and Development Department in the development of new and innovative products. In 2014 he became Manager of Clinical Research for BISCO Inc. Dr. Nunez has held a private practice focusing in Esthetic and Restorative Dentistry for the past 10 years. He has lectured in over 30 countries on a vast array of topics regarding Adhesive Dentistry. He has many publications regarding clinical techniques as well as scientific articles in peer review journals. Dr. Nunez is a member of the following groups: the International Association of Dental Research, American Association of International Research, Latin American Society of Operative Dentistry and Biomaterials, Dental Materials Group of the IAD and the Venezuelan Society of Operative Dentistry Biomaterials and Esthetics.

Cleber Silva, DDS
Dr. Silva is a graduate of Columbia University School of Dental & Oral Surgery, Cornell University’s GPR program and University of Washington Oral & Maxillofacial Radiology residency program. He practiced General Dentistry for 15 years and has for the last 10 years taught full-time at Columbia University and part-time at the University of Washington. He is a sub-specialist in guided surgery and has designed and manufactured over 1,000 surgical guides. He is currently NIH-funded for research on bone density changes in HIV+ post-menopausal women and is self-funding a research project on the use of titanium meshwire for graft reconstruction of severe mandibular bone defects and concurrent implant placement. Dr. Silva had 2 papers published in 2019; 2 papers accepted for publication in 2020; 3 papers under review and 4 papers in writing. He has lectured nationally and internationally, the last lecture given at the 2019 Greater New York Dental Meeting.

Juan Yepes, DDS, MD
Juan F. Yepes DDS, MD, MPH, MS, DrPH is an associate professor in the department of pediatric dentistry at Indiana University School of Dentistry and an attending at Riley Children Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. Juan F. is a dentist (DDS) and a physician (MD) from Javeriana University at Bogotá, Colombia. In 1999, Juan F. moved to the USA and attended the University of Iowa and the University of Pennsylvania where he completed a fellowship and residency in Radiology and Oral Medicine respectively in 2002 and 2004.  In 2006, Juan F. completed a Master in Public Health (MPH), and in 2011 a Doctoral Degree in Public Health (DrPH) both with emphasis in Epidemiology at the University of Kentucky College of Public Health. In 2008, Juan F. completed a residency program in Dental Public Health at University of Texas, Baylor College of Dentistry. Finally, Juan F. completed a residency program and a masters in pediatric dentistry at the University of Kentucky in 2012. Juan F. is board-certified by the American Boards of Pediatric Dentistry, Oral Medicine, and Dental Public Health. He is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Academy of Oral Medicine, American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology, American Association of Public Health Dentistry, Indiana Dental Association, and American Dental Association.  Juan F. is a fellow in dental surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons at Edinburgh.  He is a member of the editorial board of the journals Pediatric Dentistry and Oral Surgery, Oral Medicine, Oral Pathology, and Oral Radiology

Cancellation Policy
CE are administered on an hourly basis. Late arrivals/early departures will have their CE certificated attenuated accordingly. 

CDEWorld reserves the right to close registration when an enrollment limit is reached and to cancel, modify, or alter content or speakers for any course if circumstances necessitate such a change. If we find it necessary to cancel a course, a full refund will be granted. All attempts to contact registrants will be made as soon as possible in the event of a course cancellation. 

In the event of inclement weather (such as a snow emergency) or other extenuating circumstances, CDEWorld may be forced to cancel a course. If a course has been cancelled, we will contact participants by the phone number and/or email address provided. You may call or email our office on the day of the course if you are uncertain of a course’s status.

A full refund will be granted to those cancelling (by telephone or email) 48 or more hours in advance of the event. CDEWorld will not be held responsible for any losses due to travel arrangements made by the registrant.
