Xerostomia Update: This Course is Anything But Dry!

Mark Donaldson, PharmD

December 2019 Course
Expires: Saturday, December 31st, 2022

Web Only

Abstract

This webinar will explore the issue of Xerostomia, which is defined as the persistent or daily symptom of dry mouth, and has been estimated to affect greater than 10% of the adult population in the United States. The prevalence increases to about 25% in older persons (greater than 60 years of age) and to over 40% in institutionalized elders. As the population ages, xerostomia is becoming a greater issue and its successful treatment often requires a multimodal approach.
