Abstract

According to the U.S. Department of Labor, dental hygienists have the highest COVID-19 Occupational Risk Score of any occupation, including all medical occupations. Ultrasonic scalers create more aerosols that high-speed handpieces, and dental hygienists frequently work without an assistant who could help control the aerosol. This webinar will present challenges and solutions for protecting the most at-risk members of our dental team.
